What we aim to do at Mount Zion the Prayer Mountain and Mountain of Glory Church.
Harm and abuse of children can happen anywhere even in our church communities.
Mount Zion the Prayer Mountain and Mountain of Glory Church have a duty to ensure a safe church environment for all including children.
Our church and charity aim to eliminate completely or minimise the risk of any harm occurring to any adult or child.
If any harm or abuse does occur, with appropriate support and training, it will be recognised, dealt with and reported to the necessary authorities.
Our Child Care Policy is geared towards absolute protection and safety for all children.
What we aim to do
- Ensure best practice in preventing harm or abuse to any child
- We ensure our church and charity makes a timely and appropriate response when harm or any form of abuse is witnessed, suspected or reported.
What we do
- Safeguarding and protecting children at risk is a permanent and necessary commitment to our church and charity.
- If harm or abuse is suspected, witnessed or reported to you, you must immediately report it to the Pastoral and the Trustees Board.
- If appropriate, information is shared with the Police Authority or the Local Authority Social Work departments.
